Portrait paintings are a thoughtful collaboration between artist and sitter, and to successfully commission a portrait is to find the right artist for your taste and personality.
Painting from life is the best way to create a portrait which is naturalistic, well lit and painted with a palette which is true to life. Sittings normally take between two and three hours and a finished portrait will take around 5 – 8 sittings. My studio is north-lit and portraits can be commissioned to the size of life.
The process of painting will accommodate your schedule so don’t worry if you are unable to sit for the duration or have to skip an appointment; I take reference photographs at the studio during the first session to be used to complete the painting if necessary. This should be a fun and relaxing experience that is tailored to suit your needs.

Style
The style of painting is classical and is founded on my academic training in Florence, Italy where I studied the traditional methods of oil painting reminiscent of the masters of the past (such as Titian, Rembrandt and Velásquez).

Oil paintings, portraits and completed commissions can be hand-delivered by the artist herself to Knightsbridge, Chelsea, West Brompton, Kensington, Westminster, and the City of London; in other areas of London a specialist courier will be used to deliver your painting.
